Fixing NameVirtualHost *:80 has no VirtualHosts

Posted on 27-04-2014 20:36 by graham
If you configured Apache 2 by adding in the configuration:
NameVirtualHost *:80

you might sometimes get the following warning while restarting Apache:
NameVirtualHost *:80 has no VirtualHosts

This simply means that NameVirtualHost has been declared in more than one place. The first place you should look at is ports.conf. If you find a NameVirtualHost definition there, you should comment it out.
